The Role: Nourish by Medcan is looking for an individual who is passionate about healthy delicious food. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position. The individual works together with Nourish kitchen team members to ensure a flawlessly executed final product that supports our goal to encourage our patrons to Eat Well. Live Well.

What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for handling, preparing and cooking Nourish foods.
- Daily cleaning of cooking area including fridge's/freezers, countertops and stove tops
- Ensures that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with Food Safety guidelines
- Assist in kitchen inventory control and ordering
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a full service kitchen, with food handling, preparation, and food packaging
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends (Saturday & Sunday) if required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on independently
- A valid Food Handlers Certificate is required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week based on business needs between business hours, Monday to Friday.
This role will be based at the 1129 Broadview Ave, East York, ON M4K 2S6 kitchen location.
