JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Reaching Home Project Assistant
Report To: Finance Manager
Advertised until filled.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Reaching Home Project Officer and Finance team
· Assist with preparing all required financial reports and related documentation
· Review project financial claims with program officer and finance manager, as required
· Assist with financial reports
· Liaise with sub-project groups, including communicating reporting requirements
· Maintain project records ie: financials
· Assist with the coordination of Regional Advisory Board (RAB) and its sub-committee meetings, as required.
· Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary graduate with a minimum of two years of experience in office administration, or equivalent work experience will also be considered.
· Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and accounting software
· Knowledge of bookkeeping
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to work as a team or independently.
· Must be bondable.
Preference will be given to Indigenous applicants.
Salary: $26.00 per hour plus benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week
Term position until March 31, 2028
