Your Impact at PLATFORM The successful candidate will assist our Construction Industry Group with a variety of tasks. We are looking for professionals who want to join an exciting, fast paced environment with a strong learning culture and a focus on overall development

  • Ensure day-to-day service requests (certificates, changes etc.) are being met in a timely manner, in coordination with the account service team.
  • Inclusive of;

i. Preparation of the tender slip

ii. Contract reviews with appropriate and relevant commentary. Ensuring insurance program compliance and advising on alternative risks / exposures

iii. Tender/Bid pricing. Working with insurers to provide indicative pricing for project specific or coverage that falls outside their annual program

  • At renewal, ensure all relevant markets are approached in a timely manner (120-90 days prior).
  • Co-ordinate all renewal options and present to the client 30 days in advance of renewal.
  • 100% compliance to PLATFORMS Procedures, with no errors and omission’s
  • Act as the primary client relationship manager in coordination with the account service team
  • Provide outstanding customer service and advisory to your assigned book of business
  • Meet with clients in person independently or with senior management
  • Positive client feedback on their PLATFORM experience
  • Design insurance program strategies and provide creative, alternative solutions based on client objectives.
  • Ensure premium finance terms have been furnished with every quote
  • Ensure payment schedule and understanding has been secured from client
  • Prepare insurance submissions and conduct market meetings and negotiations with support of account service team.
  • Develop strong market relationships
  • Conduct analysis of current risk transfer programs
  • Monitor changing risk and insurance issues within the marketplace and advice clients to help them better understand their risks.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • RIBO Level 1 License or working towards
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
