Scheduler / Administrative Assistant (Casual) Benevolence Care Centre
About the role
Position Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Site Manager/Director of Care (DOC) the Scheduling Clerk / Administrative Assistant is responsible to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make calls for Care staff replacement shifts.

Maintain staffing levels during position vacancies, vacations, and other leaves.

Process all Shift Exchange and Vacation forms
-
Update and maintain the Care Services Schedules
-
Be knowledgeable in the Collective Agreement in her daily duties.

Maintain phone lists.
-
Create the Daily Team Assignments.
-
Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
-
Direct Staff inquires to the appropriate person.
-
Ordering of Incontinent products and Maintaining nursing stock room
-
Schedules Care Conferences
-
Other administrative duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in scheduling 80+ Staff in a similar setting.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.
- High Attention to detail
- Strong Organizational skills
- Skills in Microsoft Office
- Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old)
- Appropriately dressed
- Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team
