Reporting to : Corporate Controller

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Greenfield is looking for a Director of Finance to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Controller, the Director of Finance, Shared Services will collaborate closely with the Company’s finance and operational teams. The Director of Finance plays a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Treasury functions. This individual will bring strong leadership and process optimization expertise to drive efficiency across a multi-regional finance team. As a transformational leader, the Director of Finance will implement best practices and scalable solutions to support the company’s long-term financial strategy and growth.

Who You Are

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Experience Should Include

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing shared services teams.
  • Experience in navigating complex financial structures within a global or multi-regional organization.

Bonus Points If You Have Any Of These

  • Bilingual, English and French.
  • Experience with Navision or D365 operating systems

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across AP, AR, and Treasury functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and performance metrics across the shared services organization, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and align processes with business objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Develop and implement best practices to enhance vendor relationships, compliance, and payment efficiency.
  • Manage credit and collections processes to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to improve billing accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor AR aging and DSO metrics, proactively addressing issues and trends
  • Support cash optimization strategies and ensure compliance with internal treasury policies
  • Establish and improve internal controls and Company policies.
