Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and service-focused Lead Catering Server to join our team in a dynamic corporate environment. This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

In this role, you will oversee the execution of daily catered services and events, ensuring an exceptional hospitality experience for all guests. You’ll work closely with our workplace client and internal teams to maintain the highest standards in service, presentation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily cuisine patterns to track the popularity of menu items.

  • Collect data to identify high-demand dishes and recommend adjustments to the menu accordingly.

  • Assist with event decor setup as needed, ensuring consistency with event aesthetics.

  • Attend monthly team meetings, as requested by our client, to share insights and provide actionable feedback.

  • Collaborate daily with workplace team members.

  • Ensure attention to detail in food preparation, signage, presentation, and overall cleanliness.

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and comply with all food safety regulations.

  • Respond promptly to any operational issues or service challenges, providing quick and effective solutions.

  • Communicate efficiently with the workplace team and the O&B managers to address concerns or feedback.

  • Demonstrate a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor when interacting with employees.

  • Strive to create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone.

  • Monthly reports detailing cuisine data insights and menu recommendations.

  • Feedback and improvement suggestions shared during team meetings

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of serving or catering experience

  • Smart Serve certification (required)

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality service

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional, proactive, and able to maintain momentum throughout service
