Our client, a well-respected Western Canadian law firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join their Saskatoon office. What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll work closely with lawyers and clients to provide high-level support on corporate transactions. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and filing documents for incorporations, amalgamations, dissolutions, restorations, continuances, and reorganizations
- Handling online filings with the Saskatchewan Corporate Registry and Corporations Canada
- Managing extra-provincial registrations, business names, partnerships, and limited partnerships across Canada
- Drafting and filing resolutions for share issuances, transfers, dividends, redemptions, and changes to officers, directors, and registered offices
- Conducting minute book reviews and preparing corrective documentation
- Responding to client and lawyer inquiries on day-to-day corporate matters
- Maintaining and updating corporate records and databases to ensure compliance
What Our Client is Looking For:
- A graduate of a recognized legal assistant or paralegal diploma program (or equivalent experience)
- 5–7 years of corporate paralegal experience in a law firm environment
- Strong understanding of Saskatchewan and Federal corporate legislation
- Proficiency in drafting corporate documentation and managing corporate databases
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management software
