Required f****or Ecole Mallaig School

Ecole Mallaig School requires a temporary 1.0 FTE teacher starting August 27, 2025 to December 19, 2025. Teaching assignment includes Jr. and Sr. High Home Economics, FSL Gr**.** 3–9, Jr. H****igh Religion and Social Gr. 7.

Ecole Mallaig School, located in Mallaig, Alberta is a K-12 school with approximately 215 students.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • be committed to student-centered learning
  • understand and correctly use formative/summative assessment
  • practise effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learning
  • be collaborative and committed to building relationships with students, parents, staff

A College Certificate in Catholic Education will be considered an asset.

The Division's religious, linguistic and cultural diversity is a source of strength and pride.

We serve 3640 students (K-12), including Catholic, First Nation, Mennonite, Hutterite and Home Schooling learners. Our 19 definable school sites are staffed by approximately 232 FTE teaching staff and 293 support staff.
