As an AWS Frontend Developer within our Customer Experience and Contact Center Technology team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative applications leveraging AWS technologies. This pivotal role requires extensive experience in application development, combined with a comprehensive understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and proficiency in multiple back-end languages.

In this position, the developer will create solutions using the Amazon Connect platform, facilitate seamless interactions between various applications, and integrate with third-party vendors. Expertise in building products across the full technology stack will be essential for developing and implementing robust, scalable solutions that drive our contact center technology forward. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and maintains a passion for staying current with emerging technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Requirements Analysis & Technical Support: Analyze functional business requirements and design specifications for agent desktop and agent softphone applications, while providing advanced technical support to develop related project deliverables and enhance contact center applications across all business areas.
  • Support technical discovery, cut-over activities, and transition to support/managed services. Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in contact center technologies and CCaaS expertise.
  • Create multiple design views to address stakeholder concerns regarding architecture, handle functional and non-functional requirements, and develop proof of concepts that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards.
  • Apply hands-on experience with AWS Lambda serverless architecture and extensive knowledge in designing large-scale systems with proven system architecture expertise.
  • Develop and implement web solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REACT framework integration REST APIs, Spring, Spring Boot (3.x), NoSQL databases, and modern web development practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce quality coding standards across development teams.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in diverse technologies and frameworks encompassing DynamoDB, Lambda, Amazon Connect API, along with expertise in event-driven architecture, cloud deployments, REST/API applications, service-oriented approaches, streaming, and other communication technologies.
  • Assist in implementing omni-channel routing, sentiment analytics, CRM integration, workforce management, outbound campaigns, evaluation forms, synchronous and asynchronous chat with multiple languages, and advanced reporting systems.
  • Effectively identify and resolve system defects while managing both Waterfall and Agile projects according to established guidelines and procedures.

What you bring

  • Strong proficiency in software development in cloud environments, coupled with extensive experience in back-end technologies such as Python and Node.js, enabling the creation of robust and scalable server-side solutions.
  • Proven experience in crafting user-friendly web interfaces through HTML markup language, while demonstrating expertise in developing prototypes, mockups, and high-quality graphic designs that maintain consistent brand standards.
  • Proficient understanding and hands-on experience with various AWS services, particularly Amazon Connect, AWS Lex, Lambda, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Route53, Lake Formation, and Kinesis, enabling efficient cloud-based solutions and integrations.
  • Adeptness at developing innovative solutions and strong enthusiasm for hands-on scripting, particularly utilizing JSON and YAML, to create efficient and effective technical implementations.
  • Extensive experience in delivering APIs and strong working knowledge of API-related technologies, including RESTful architecture, web services, and authentication protocols, ensuring secure and efficient system integrations.
  • Proven expertise in Agile development methodologies, effectively collaborating in fast-paced, iterative environments to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Substantial experience working with source control systems, specifically Git and Azure DevOps, as well as proficiency in utilizing Visual Studio for efficient software development and version management.
  • Experience and understanding of design principles (UML, design patterns) with a track record of taking solutions from architecture level to implementation.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication abilities and strong organizational skills, ensuring effective project management and collaboration.

Great-to-have

  • AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level)
  • Extensive experience working with the AWS platform, including AWS Bedrock, and comprehensive knowledge of using various GenAI LLM Models.
  • Comprehensive expertise in deploying and managing diverse contact center technologies, including ACD, IVR, VoIP, WebRTC, chat systems, softphone integration, advanced analytics, call recording systems, and omni-channel solutions, while implementing complex routing scenarios and integrating AI/ML capabilities.
