Mission:
We are looking for a Head of Accounting, Americas to join our finance team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the accounting operations of our regional subsidiaries. Your mission: ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, in full compliance with both local accounting standards and internal Group policies. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, consolidation, process improvement, and team development.
ACTIVITIES
- Supervise all accounting activities across the region's subsidiaries (USA, Canada, Brazil).
- Produce accurate financial statements in line with local GAAP and Group accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and reliable financial data integration for consolidation purposes.
- Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and legal reporting obligations.
- Optimize and harmonize accounting processes in line with Group best practices.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a regional accounting team.
- Evaluate recruitment needs based on operational requirements and growth.
- Act as a primary contact for internal and external auditors.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 7 years of experience in in accounting, preferably in a multi-entity, international environment
- Strong command of local GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Accounting or Audit, CPA, ACCA or equivalent ).
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic setting.
- Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
