THE ROLE: On-site Support Representative
THE LOCATION:
St. Johns, Newfoundland (On-site at events)
THE PAY: $22/hour
THE DATE/ HOURS:
Must be available for training on August 5 & 6, 2025 and available between August 7- 24, 2025 for various hours
DEADLINE TO APPLY: June 15, 2025
Showpass is looking for individuals with a passion for the arts, entertainment, or live events to help facilitate an event in St.John’s, Newfoundland. This role is responsible for ensuring the event runs smoothly with all the various ticketing needs and requirements.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support with onsite hardware setup, ticket transactions, and scanning
- Provide detailed explanations of venue configurations and seating arrangements to patrons
- Set up, maintain and troubleshoot various hardware items
- Work collaboratively with Showpass’ Client Success and Support teams to escalate issues for ticket buyers and event organizers
- Provide feedback to Client Success and other teams to improve products, site usability and level of service
- Ability to interpret and enforce client’s box office policies and procedures
- Coordinate the distribution of reserved tickets for pick-up
- Troubleshoot platform related issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service, adhering to company guidelines and addressing customer inquiries and issues effectively
- Promote a collaborative and supportive atmosphere among team members and within the organization
- Complete additional tasks on-site as delegated
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in the events/ticketing industry is an asset
- Experience working for a technology company in a B2B2C industry is an asset
- Ability to learn new software / hardware systems quickly
- Strong organizational and process-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be empathetic and understanding of client/customer needs
- Ability to maintain a calm, positive and friendly attitude when dealing with clients and/or customers, especially in difficult situations
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations with poise and empathy
- Must be available as per the hours listed above (includes evenings and weekends)
