YOUR MISSION

As Senior Manager, International Development, you will be at the heart of Cirque du Soleil’s growth strategy. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Development and sitting within the Global Development team, you will help identify new business opportunities, and actively contribute to the development of resident shows, seasonal productions, custom events, and other innovative entertainment projects around the world.

This role bridges business development, market intelligence, and project management. You will analyze trends, help manage the development pipeline, lead partner engagement, and build compelling pitchs to support the development of new projects. You will play a key role in transforming strategic opportunities into extraordinary experiences.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze market data and trends to identify and evaluate opportunities for new projects globally.
  • Nurture and maintain a strong development pipeline by tracking projects, assessing feasibility, and nurturing relationships with leads and partners.
  • Develop and maintain high-impact sales tools, pitch decks, and project proposals tailored to various client types.
  • Monitor Requests for Proposals (RFPs), help prioritize according to strategic potential, and coordinate timely responses.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact to move projects forward and ensure alignment from concept to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (creative, production, finance, sponsorship, etc.) to ensure proposals are viable and aligned with Cirque du Soleil’s objectives.

YOUR MISSION

  • 5-7 years of experience in quantitative marketing research, preferably in entertainment, media, travel, or consumer experience industries – either in-house (client-side) or at a marketing research agency
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing
  • Proficiency with survey platforms (ideally Qualtrics)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical and storytelling abilities, with a talent for turning complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent attention to details, organized and rigorous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in French and English
