Work Location: This role is based out of the Tim Horton Camp Whiteshell (THCW) location. Travel may be required (USA & Canada) from time to time to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Camp Operations (or their designate), the Property Manager is responsible for ensuring all participants served by Tims Camps enjoy their unique camp experience in a safe and well-maintained environment. This role will oversee the day to day operations of the maintenance and housekeeping team and will also work collaboratively with the THCW program and food service teams. In addition, it will work cross-functionally with the shared service teams at Home Office and liaise with Property Managers from other Camp locations.

What would you be doing?

Directing, coaching, developing, and providing performance feedback to your staff team

Managing projects, as well as supervising contractors to ensure cooperation and support
-
Planning and executing a Preventative Maintenance Plan based on Foundation procedures
-
Ensuring all equipment is maintained and inspected to provide a safe environment for staff, campers and visitors
-
Responsible for developing and monitoring the annual budget to ensure efficient use of resources and to control expenses wherever possible
-
Ensure the camp follows the Foundation's standard property management protocols
-
Actively participate in standards visits with our Standards Team and follow through on agreed upon actions
-
Demonstrating a hands-on approach to working in a dynamic environment with multiple demands and changing priorities
-
Commit to ensuring that each guest experience is met with the highest standard of customer service and property management
-
Acting as a positive role model to campers, promoting healthy lifestyles and choices
-

Does this sound like you?

Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading teams
-
5+ years of experience working with building systems, grounds maintenance, housekeeping and hospitality
-
5+ years of experience successfully managing capital projects considered an asset
-
Specialized training or certification as a carpenter, electrician, plumber, landscaper, small engine or auto mechanic, or other applicable trades is considered an asset
-
Knowledge of local industry standards and by-laws
-
Experience using Microsoft Office and confident using technology
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Previous experience managing a budget

Current First Aid/CPR certification
-
Water & Wastewater System Operator certifications or the ability to become certified

Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract

Acceptable criminal background check
