What we offer

The Administrative Assistant, Land Development, is a pivotal role on the Land Development team. We are seeking an energetic individual who thrives on organization and is able to provide a high level of administrative support to the Senior development team while working collaboratively within the division and department. In addition, we are looking for an individual who will help to support and maintain our strong culture within the Land Development team.

What you’ll do

  • Scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms, and making any arrangements for equipment or refreshments. Minute taking for meetings as needed.
  • Manage calendars for the senior Land Development team.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Land Development department and other departments throughout the organization.
  • Undertaking other tasks on behalf of the management team such as expenses, invoices, letters of credit, travel arrangements, etc. and providing general administrative support to the department as needed.
  • Assists in building on-boarding plans for new hires or transfers into the team. Coordinate new hire training plans.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, agendas and analysis reports.
  • Researching various specific topics and preparing related documents.
  • Coordinating corporate sponsorships and donations.
  • Assisting with the coordination of both on-site and off-site special events or projects.
  • Manage subscriptions & renewals.
  • Process initiatives for improved efficiencies within the department & division.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned to support the needs of the development team.

What y****ou b****ring

  • Successful completion of post-secondary education
  • 2+ years of business experience working in administrative roles.
  • Experienced at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated use of good judgment in handling large volume of requests with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and excellent ability to anticipate unscheduled events which might require modifying schedule.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and DocuSign with proven capability to prepare attractive and effective PowerPoint presentations.
  • Detail oriented with ability to check documents for accuracy, communicate detailed changes and ensure corrections are made.
  • Capacity to maintain an in-depth understanding of the priorities of the Land Development department and bound by the requirement to keep strategic and private information confidential.
