We are actively recruiting for a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to manage claims directly with third parties and who enjoys working in team environment. The successful candidate will have a multifaceted personality and thrive within an inspiring culture. You will seek out challenges in order to continually improve your knowledge and skills, while providing the best-in-class service to the end customer.

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret, evaluate, and determine policy coverage
  • Investigate, evaluate, and settle minor bodily injury claims
  • Ensure accurate and timely reserves are set
  • Provide best in class communications with our customers, brokers, and business partners
  • Clearly document and summarize file activity/analysis in a digital file
  • Support and encourage Aviva’s claim and litigation philosophy

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in hybrid environment
  • Knowledge of bodily injury claim process and relevant legislation
  • Familiarity in determining liability in auto tort environment
  • Ability to interpret medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility, and integrity
  • A great sense of humor
  • A committed teammate with a positive outlook
  • Minimum of 1-2 years claims adjusting experience or equivalent
