Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Cannabis Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a positive experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, effects, and usage methods.
- Opening and Closing Procedures.
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and inventory management.
- Maintain an organized display of products and ensure cleanliness throughout the sales area.
- Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle heavy lifting as needed when restocking or organizing inventory.
- File necessary documentation and maintain compliance with state regulations regarding cannabis sales.
- Provide leadership support by training new staff members when required.
- Communicate effectively with multilingual customers to ensure understanding of product offerings.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required, particularly in the cannabis industry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and inventory.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Ability to lift heavy items as required for stocking purposes.
- Experience with cashiering duties is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
- Proven upselling skills to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Leadership qualities that can contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Selling it Right Certification.

We are a locally owned and operated business. Our company has operated in Terrace for more than a decade and now we have expanded our business in Squamish. With the legalization of Cannabis in Canada, we wanted to start our journey from Home.
All of the Cannabis sold at our stores comes directly from the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) and these products go through testing to ensure they are compliant as per Health Canada safety standards.
