Immediate Openings for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ponoka to care for individuals in their homes.

• Flexible schedule - Must be available for every other weekend
• All shifts available, please indicate which shifts you are available to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene
• Experience with hydraulic lift for patient transfers
• Transportation, medical escort, transfer, stand by assistance
• Assistance with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and feeding if needed
• Provide light housekeeping, friendly conversation, and companionship

Must be able to

• Lift/move up to 50 lbs, and walk, stand, and bend during scheduled shift
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be detail oriented

Requirements

• LPN Diploma in good standing with CLPNA
• CPR Certificate - Health Care Level C
• Police Clearance - Vulnerable Sector Search
• At least 2 professional references
• Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
