Harvard Developments is seeking a Project Administrator w/ Accounting (18 Month Term) to join our team in Edmonton. This role involves managing the financial aspects of construction projects, tenant improvements, and other various capital projects through job cost accounting, forecasting, and analysis, while providing comprehensive administrative support for the project team.

What you will bring to the job:
- 2–4 years of experience in project administration, preferably within project-based industries such as real estate, construction, or engineering;
- Proficiency in job cost accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting;
- Familiarity with contract administration and an understanding of contract law;
- Expertise in financial systems, spreadsheets, and databases, with advanced skills in financial management software;
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused and collaborative approach;
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset;
- A diploma in Accounting or equivalent technical training is a strong consideration for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration and Financial Management: Maintain accurate project accounting records, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports while ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Contract and Fee Administration: Collaborate on contract management, project fee tracking, and compliance with ownership agreements.
- Administrative Support: Coordinate with project managers and other team members to streamline project operations, ensuring accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to regulations, support audits, and implement best practices to maintain financial and operational integrity.
