Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and development needs across our diverse portfolio of businesses. This includes office and manufacturing facilities, construction projects, and real estate development properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, basic electrical and mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.

This is a dynamic role with variety in daily tasks and locations, requiring flexibility, initiative, and a strong problem-solving mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across multiple properties (offices, manufacturing spaces, and residential/commercial developments).
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and infrastructure.
  • Execute minor construction and renovation projects, including framing, drywall, finishing, and installations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs (e.g., lighting, outlets, switches).
  • Handle mechanical and HVAC maintenance, in coordination with licensed contractors when necessary.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to support real estate development activities.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, carpentry, and basic electrical and mechanical work.
  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in general maintenance and light construction.
  • Familiarity with commercial and residential property systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks and locations.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks, including ladder work and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Basic computer skills for logging work orders and documentation.
