About the opportunity:

The Corporate Quality Analyst is an integral part of the Corporate QFS Team, providing key support in digital transformation in the areas of Consumer Relations, Customer and Manufacturing reporting starting with the development and implementation of Power BI data reporting framework. The Corporate Quality Analyst will be responsible to analyze, interpret data, identify trends, creating reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) for all the plants and cross functional teams, trend identification, data correction for accuracy and assist with CFIA product recalls. Ensure the data within the database system is accurately maintained and is responsible for generating and maintaining the QFS plant dashboard for all the plants.

The attributes we are looking for:

  • Source, clean, process, analyze, and create trend analysis reports by using the information that is available from sources such as BW, SAP and Consumer Relations database system.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of PowerBi data reporting framework to automatize and optimize our reporting processes
  • Provide data reporting support and training to staff and plants on using data systems and reporting tools, focusing on Business Intelligence tools
  • Work closely with Corporate QFS function, plant QC Managers, call center Consumer Relations Operation Assistant Manager and IT
  • Assist the team at the call center in the event of a CFIA product recall by performing administrative tasks including reporting, tracking information, etc.
  • Stay up to date with data reporting BI tools and continuously provide suggestions to optimize reporting processes.
  • Review on a weekly/monthly basis the consumer complaints data entry accuracy. Direct key Consumer Relations personnel to correct non-compliances and opportunities and ensure all necessary corrections are completed accurately and on time.
  • Execute, monitor, communicate, and follow-up of new product launches with the creation of reports to monitor complaints and trend.
  • Conduct and track all product retrievals from Consumers and follows up with sites, labs and management to resolve consumer returns.

What you will bring:

  • Community College or University Degree in related field
  • Minimum (2) years’ experience in data analysis using PowerBI
  • Ability to work within structured timelines
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong orientation towards accuracy, quality and focus on details
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast paced, team environment with a strong sense of urgency and understanding of priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks/projects
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and provide meaningful insights
  • Ensuring accuracy in data collection, reporting, and analysis
  • Effectively communicate data and findings to stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Advanced proficiency with office computer technology including Power BI, Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel)
  • Proficiency in SAP and BW
  • French verbal and written communication skills are an asset.
