Job Description
The Sales and Catering Coordinator is a seasonal position located at St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino. The ideal candidate is an energetic and dynamic team player who supports the Sales and Marketing Team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales and Catering Coordinator provides daily administrative support to the Sales, Marketing, and Events offices. You will interact with clients and staff, handling catering sales and administrative responsibilities, including creating contracts, providing estimates, and reporting, among other tasks. This position also performs all functions of the Events and Catering Manager in their absence.
Sales Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all events and catering sales inquiries received at the resort, including conferences, meetings, weddings, and golf groups.
- Finding the most suitable venue for the client’s event.
- Meeting the client’s event requirements while collaborating closely with the food and beverage team.
- Giving tours and attending meetings with potential clients
Wedding & Event Responsibilities
- Serve as the contact person for the wedding couple and their guests for any needs.
- Overseeing wedding day events, including rehearsals, the ceremony, and the reception.
- Coordinating timelines with the wedding couple.
- Establish and nurture business relationships with local vendors.
- Assist in planning and producing internal events.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date software databases and files.
- Management of hotel room blocks for sales and catering groups.
- Collaborating with other departments to meet clients' needs.
- Developing floor plans.
- A willingness to work beyond your job description to assist teams when necessary, ensuring the success of events.

Education and Experience Requirements

Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.

Will consider a combination of relevant industry experience and education in a related field.
