Integra Skills Counselling is a growing therapy clinic, providing mental health support to children, adults, couples and families in the city of Cobourg and in Burlington. We are looking for a new Social Worker, Psychologist, or Registered Psychotherapist with sports psychology skills and experience to join our team!
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Social Worker. We are hoping for someone local to either Cobourg or Burlington who can offer therapy in person and remotely for people struggling with sports related mental health challenges, such as:
- Performance anxiety
- low self esteem
- Motivation issues
- Concentration and focus
- Setting up good habits
- Interpersonal issues with team members or coaches
Special consideration will be given to applicants who are members of the Canadian Sports Psychology Association
Qualification Requirements
- A Masters (or equivalent) in Social Work, Psychotherapy or Psychology
- Registration, and in good standing, with your regulatory College
- Willingness to have session openings for least one evening per week, and one weekend day each month
- Professional liability insurance (Minimum $2M)
- Access to a laptop, cell phone and sufficient internet access that can be used for virtual sessions and correspondences with clients.
