About the role
True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for an energetic and motivated sales professional to join our team.
The Senior Account Executive, Premium Sales is responsible for implementing tactics to secure ticket revenue growth for True North, including the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose. The role focuses on the full spectrum of sales products, with particular emphasis on expanding ticket memberships within the business community.
What to be excited for in this role:
- Focus execution of B2B assigned campaigns throughout the year to deliver new business revenue results by proactively selling Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose ticket offerings, including premium seating as well as full, half season and quarter season ticket packages and game packages.
- Contribute proactively to the development and mentorship of other members of the sales team.
- Support the Manager in the development of key sales initiatives and strategies, as well as in leading cross-functional projects that align with broader organizational goals.
- Serve as the key account lead on high-impact sales opportunities.
- Actively generate new business through innovative programming, consistent outreach and exceeding sales touchpoints, including outbound phone calls, emails, social selling, in-person appointments, and in-game meet and greets.
- Manage a targeted list of sales leads and maintain accurate customer and prospect information in the CRM system.
- Provide technical support and customer service for Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose ticket holders.
- Contribute to a positive and competitive sales culture by sharing ideas, collaborating with teammates, and participating in weekly meetings and training sessions.
- Build meaningful and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to drive ticket revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Promote ticket offerings at home games, team events, and community initiatives to maximize visibility and reach.
- Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.
What we need from you:
- 3-5 years of successful experience in a B2B sales role.
- Current network of local business contacts considered an strong asset.
- Post Secondary education (Business Admin, B. Comm), or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong understanding of customer service.
- Delivers results and exceed expectations while working collaboratively with others.
- Self-starter that is results driven with the ability to set goals and deliver on priorities.
- Superior attention to detail and excellent personal organization.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A fundamental understanding of database processes.
- Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
- Proactive in anticipating problems and/or issues and providing superior fan experience service solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully communicate with Winnipeg Jets stakeholders.
- Ability to generate incremental revenue through call campaigns with defined call volume targets.
- Sound interpersonal skills and judgment to aid in management of relationships with various clients, supplier, peers, and supervisors as required in this role.
- Very strong organizational skills to stay on task and effectively manage competing demands towards successful and timely completion of projects.
- Must be flexible with working evenings, weekends, and holidays on an as needed basis.
