Job Summary

Chief Isaac Inc. is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, leasing, and maintenance of our residential and commercial properties. This role is responsible for ensuring high occupancy rates, maintaining property standards, and fostering strong tenant relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Oversight: Manage the leasing, maintenance, and operations of all rental properties under Chief Isaac Inc.
  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary contact for tenants, handling inquiries, lease agreements, and resolving concerns professionally.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee property repairs, maintenance, and vendor contracts to ensure properties remain in excellent condition.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure properties meet all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, collect rent, process invoices, and prepare financial reports related to property operations.
  • Marketing & Leasing: Develop strategies to attract tenants, conduct property viewings, and negotiate lease agreements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of property management or real estate experience.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with leasing laws, tenant rights, and property maintenance best practices.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive tenant relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple properties, deadlines, and maintenance schedules efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is an asset.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.

In 2009, the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in Trust was established as the sole shareholder of the Chief Isaac Group of Companies acting on behalf of the Trust's beneficiaries – the citizens of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in.

Our group of companies respectfully carries the name of this historic Chief who led the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in at the time of the Klondike Gold Rush during the late 1800s.
