Position: Part-Time Sales Associate

Role Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, motivated Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fashion, excellent customer service, and being part of a purpose-driven business. Location is in Inglewood, Calgary, AB, with flexible hours and the potential to grow into additional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with clients and offering styling advice
• Assist customers in finding products that suit their needs and preferences
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store sales targets
• Develop rapport with customers to build long-term relationships
• Support team members with daily store operations, including stock replenishment and visual presentation
• Promote Genuine Design’s story, emphasizing sustainability and quality
• Assist with basic marketing efforts, such as handing out business cards or participating in local events
• Maintain a clean and inviting store environment
• Follow loss prevention and store policies diligently

Qualifications:

• Friendly, approachable, and passionate about fashion and customer service
• Previous retail or sales experience preferred (1+ years)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of fashion trends is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and reliable time management
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or fashion-related training is an asset
• Comfortable working weekends and weekdays with some flexibility
