The Vista Inn is dedicated to providing a welcoming and comfortable experience for every guest. We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring their stay is enjoyable and smooth from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently processguest arrivals and departures, including verifying reservations, assigningrooms, and handling payment transactions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customerservice by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and accommodatingspecial requests.
- Reservation Management: Manage room bookings,cancellations, and modifications through our reservation system.
- Communication: Relay important information toguests about motel amenities, policies, and local attractions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records ofguest interactions, transactions, and any issues that arise.
- Front Desk Operations: Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies..
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a customerservice or hospitality role is preferred, but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills in English with a friendly and professionaldemeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizationalabilities and attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable usingcomputer systems, reservation software, and basic office equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle and resolveguest issues or conflicts effectively.
- Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays and be on call overnight.
