The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with other departments to support budgeting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation and support.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is essential.
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes and account reconciliation practices.
- Experience in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments.
