Required Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in PowerBI development, including creating complex dashboards and reports.

• Strong SQL scripting and Excel experience

• Solid understanding of business and finance principles, with knowledge of financial analysis from a business perspective (e.g., university business courses).

• Strong ability to create visually compelling dashboards while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the backend data.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a related field and experience with Oracle Hyperion

• Educational background in analytics or a related program.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PowerBI Developer to join our Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for one of our major retail clients. This role is crucial in transforming our data into actionable insights through the creation of dynamic and visually appealing dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling them to bridge the gap between our business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to support the FP&A team.

• Validate and ensure the accuracy of data flowing into PowerBI from various data sources.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Create strong visualizations that effectively communicate financial and business insights.

• Perform data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends and patterns.

• Provide training and support to end-users on PowerBI functionalities and best practices.

• Continuously improve and optimize existing PowerBI solutions to enhance performance and usability.
