Three Ships Beauty is hiring! We’re looking for a full-time Sr. Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to our Director of Marketing, the Sr. Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the brand marketing segment of our business, including the social media and influencer marketing teams; supporting the strategy and execution of these portfolios at a high level. This role will be responsible for developing & guiding a long-term vision for influencer and affiliate partnerships, social media strategy across several platforms, leading influencer & community related eventing, and driving impactful brand marketing strategies to position Three Ships as the most trusted natural brand within the skincare industry!
Our ideal new team member is a seasoned social media and brand marketing professional who is up-to-date on the latest trends within brand marketing funnels and the Influencer & Events industry. This role will be a key connector and advisor to two (2) direct reports, cross-functional partners, and external agencies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media
- Oversee and support the Social Media Coordinator in the development & enhancement of Three Ships organic social media strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals, campaign initiatives, and audience growth objectives.
- Identify strategic channel expansion opportunities for Three Ships on new or emerging social media platforms and help build channel specific strategies to expand our organic reach.
- Work with the Social Media coordinator to optimize social strategies based on consumer insights, platform trends, and performance data to maximize reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator, creative team, and cross-functional partners to support in the development & approval of high-impact videos, graphics, Reels, TikToks, and interactive content.
- Leverage social insights & listening tools (e.g. Archive to track Earned Media Value (EMV), engagement, conversions, and overall ROI of organic social media platforms.
- Support the Social Media Coordinator with ad-hoc content creation and video editing for organic & paid ads content.
- Oversee and support the Social Media Coordinator in the execution, including budget management, of our UGC program to ensure a consistent pipeline of high-impact content for organic and paid channels.
Influencer & Affiliate Marketing
- Support the Influencer & Affiliate Associate in developing and overseeing a best-in-class influencer and affiliate marketing program, focusing on awareness, engagement, and revenue-driving partnerships.
- Working with the Influencer & Affiliate Associate to identify, connect, and nurture relationships with top-tier macro-influencers, celebrity artists, industry experts, and micro-influencers to build an engaged brand advocate network.
- Support in the management of high-profile influencer collaborations, including contract negotiations, creative direction, and content deliverables.
- Support in the measurement of success by analyzing data insights and continuously optimizing influencer strategies for maximum impact.
- Oversee and direct the influencer marketing budget, ensuring smart allocation of funds to drive the strongest ROI.
- Lead affiliate agency relationship by acting as main point of contact, reviewing KPIs results regularly, and supporting with marketing materials to deliver on a consistent stream of affiliate press coverage.
Events
- Lead the planning and execution of brand awareness events for Three Ships including brand activations, strategic retail partner events, influencer events and PR + community & brand awareness experiences, with support of Brand Team.
- Manage event budgets, track performance metrics, and report on ROI to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish guidelines for capturing event-related content on organic and paid channels to increase visibility across growth and social channels.
- Oversee vendor management, production logistics, and timelines to ensure flawless execution, with support of agency partners as applicable.
- Stay ahead of emerging industry & event trends and bring forward innovative ideas to elevate brand presence.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy and influencer marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a related industry.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports (minimum 1 year) with a supportive and people first mentality.
- Degree from an accredited University or College in Marketing, Business, Communications, PR or another related field.
- Proven experience developing and executing high-impact social media campaigns that drive engagement and business impact.
- In-depth understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and influencer marketing tools (Tribe Dynamics, Praize, or similar).
- Experience leading an Influencer or Affiliate program, with particular focus on contract negotiations.
- Experience leading event activations for major product launches, brand campaigns, and influencer or community events.
- Experience with ad-creation, video editing, or graphic design is an asset.
- You have a background working for DTC or Beauty brands.
