Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our Tecumseh Manufacturing team as an:
Human Resource Operations Administrator
Reporting to the HR Manager, we are seeking an organized and people-focused Human Resource Operations Administrator to support the HR and leadership teams by coordinating daily HR activities, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including assisting with training coordination, resource planning, safety documentation, and personnel records.
- Support recruitment and onboarding by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and preparing for new employee orientation.
- Manage the timekeeping system, including schedule entry, attendance tracking, and payroll data verification.
- Maintain health, safety, and environmental records (e.g., incident reports, fault cards, SDS database), and support WHMIS-related training.
- Promote employee engagement by coordinating events (BBQs, luncheons, Power Breaks), acting as the “Cheer for Me” Ambassador, and keeping communication boards up to date.
- Perform general office duties such as greeting visitors, answering phones, handling mail/packages, ordering supplies, and supporting travel coordination.
- Assist with ISO compliance activities and audit preparation.
- Provide confidential and timely support to employees and other departments as needed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For
- Completion of a college-level program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Up to 2 years of administrative or HR support experience is preferred. Co-op, internship, or part-time work experience in an HR environment will be considered.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft office is considered an asset.
