We’re expanding our team and looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our vibrant, 2-vet, mixed-animal practice (yes, that means we treat everything from furry friends to feathered ones!). At Hillside, we’re passionate about continuous learning and staying on the cutting edge of veterinary technology. We provide ample continuing education (CE) opportunities to ensure you’re always up-to-date and equipped to deliver the highest standard of care.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead your own appointments and connect with clients using your strong communication and people skills
- Perform hands-on technical tasks while working closely with our skilled veterinarians
- Run surgical days ensuring the pets and clients are taken care of during a stressful time
- Be an essential part of a fun, supportive, and collaborative team

- Registered Veterinary Technician certification
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Laboratory experience for conducting tests and analyzing samples
- Ability to assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of veterinary software and record-keeping practices

Hillside Veterinary Clinic works along side it's satellite practices in the Dallas and surronding area: Abrams Forest Veterinary Clinic, Preston Royal Animal Clinic, Canyon Creek Animal Clinic, Prestonwood Pet Clinic, Rowlett Veterinary Clinic, Liberty Grove Animal Hospital, Town East Animal Hospital and Pet Hospital at South Collins.
