About the role
IntelliStaff is recruiting for experienced Construction Superintendents to oversee large-scale residential building operations in Northern communities. These full-time roles involve living in-community and leading a team to deliver critical housing infrastructure.
You’ll have full operational oversight and play a key role in project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site activities and enforce schedules, safety, and performance benchmarks.
- Coordinate with trades, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and crew efficiency.
- Resolve conflicts, identify potential delays, and implement recovery strategies.
- Monitor compliance with safety policies, building codes, and technical requirements.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members on site.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in residential construction, with at least 3 years as a superintendent.
- Solid understanding of scheduling software, quality control, and construction logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in remote locations or northern climates is preferred.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
Working in Nunavut
