Accounts Receivable Specialist (with Payroll Support)

Are you an emerging finance professional with experience in both Accounts Receivable and Payroll? Join a well-established construction and development firm in Vancouver that’s passionate about building high-quality residential projects across the Lower Mainland.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our finance team with AR processes and assist in payroll administration.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations
- Assist with weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff
- Maintain accurate records of receivables and employee payroll data
- Respond to client and employee inquiries related to billing and payroll
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with the accounting and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate financial operations
What You Bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Payroll
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Familiarity with payroll systems and basic BC employment standards
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow
