About the role
We opened our doors in 2019 establishing a solid reputation for great atmosphere, service, food and drinks. We've always taken pride in a very hands on approach with our customers and staff, treating everyone like our family. We are now looking to add one more person in the most important role, management. As a small mom and pop style operation, our current managment team consists of us owners, one manager and shift lead closers. We are looking to hire an individual that is passionate about the service industry, is a natural leader and always strives for excellence. This position would be a full time job, overseeing the full scope of operating a restaurant. Our hope is to hire the right person that will eventually take over as a general manager (relieving some of the work load from the owners). The right candidate has the following qualifications and experience:
- previous experience in hospitality management
- strong knowledge of wine and food pairing, food safety, spirits and bar knowledge
- strong team leadership and team building ability
- positive and calm management style, works well under pressure and is a quick problem solver
- maintains a well organized and clean team/atmosphere (bonus * loves a good deep clean especially with our old little house here)
- excited to always teach and guide staff towards excellence
- always willing to educate themselves on new product in order to guide the rest of the team
- basic understanding of scheduling/labour, financial reporting and budget control
- well versed in POS use and on management level
- excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- and overall a rock star!!
Our pay structure is based on previous experience, and priced to be very competitive.
