About the role
Agrai Dairy Mart specializes in the sales, service and support of dairy barn equipment. We service and sell all major global brands representing all of Alberta from our three locations - Lethbridge, Lacombe, & Nisku. We are currently looking for a full-time bookkeeper/operations coordinator out of our head office in Lacombe, Alberta.

Requirements
● QuickBooks Online: 1 year
● Bookkeeping: 1 year
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare customer invoices/review accuracy of incoming invoices and complete the posting process in a timely manner
● Prepare bi-weekly payroll, employee commission, and applicable government remittance for hourly and salary employees
● Maintenance of employee information (i.e. payroll, stat. holiday pay, maintenance of employee files, government deductions, benefits etc.)
● Complete tax forms and Government filing, i.e. HST, Source Deductions, T4s, and taxes, etc.
● Reconcile bank statements and maintain accounting ledgers, posting account transactions daily
● Oversee and manage accounts receivable and payable
● Prioritize and execute the collection of accounts receivable, prepare past due statements and initiate collection calls to customers to resolve past due/billing issues
● Creation and maintenance of consistent reports within QuickBooks and our internal software system as it relates to business operations
● Processing new hires, employee changes, terminations and transfers
● Other administrative and bookkeeping duties as required
What you bring to the team:
● A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is preferred or working towards the completion of the PCP certification
● Minimum 2 years of payroll administration experience processing both hourly and salaried pay
● Strong self-starter, able to effectively prioritize key tasks and deliverables with limited day-to-day direction
● Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information
● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service
● Excellent attention to detail and seasoned problem-solving skills
● Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to maintain performance when faced with tight deadlines and frequent changes
● Reliable transportation to work daily Monday - Friday
● Professional attitude, pleasant, friendly and courteous disposition
