Located inside the Hotel Grand Pacific on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, Fathom is a stylish restaurant with a unique and exciting menu. We’re looking for Season term an experienced server to join our team and help create exceptional dining experiences for hotel guests, local residents, and visitors from afar.

Maintaining professional presentation at all times, the chosen candidate will:

· Provide a welcoming, first-class experience for our guests

· Advise guests on our menu and use suggestive selling

· Take orders in a timely and accurate manner

· Read guests and accommodate requests where possible.

We offer a respectful and structured work environment, with a hands-on management team.

$19.91/hr plus gratuities

Seasonal position from June - October 30

What We’re Looking For:

· At least 2 years of serving experience in fine dining or a full-service hotel

· Serving It Right and Food Safe (or equivalent) certificates are required

· Polished and personable with professional verbal communication skills

· Solid knowledge of wines

· Knowledge of Squirrel POS

· A team player who takes initiative to improve knowledge and stay updated on menus

· Comfortable working in a high-volume environment, with proven multi-tasking skills.
