About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Coordinator to support our client's growing finance team. This full-time, on-site position is based in Surrey and plays a key role in daily accounting functions, administrative support, and ERP data management. It’s an excellent opportunity for candidates with foundational accounting experience who are looking to grow into more advanced responsibilities over time. Our client has a very supportive and close-knit environment with a tenured and established team. This role is on-site and offers education assistance, RRSP matching, benefits and incredible mentorship. Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
- Enter daily financial transactions into the ERP system
- Process vendor and freight invoices accurately
- Generate and issue Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices, primarily for parts sales
- Conduct AR collections and issue account statements for follow-up
- Process credit card payments
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements and expenses
- Maintain organized finance folders and audit-ready documentation
- Distribute bi-weekly AR reports
- Support month-end close activities and general accounting tasks
Administrative Duties
- Enter and monitor daily employee timesheets
- Manage scanning, filing, and organization of digital records
- Maintain accurate filing systems
Candidate Profile
- 2 years of experience in accounting or office administration
- Familiarity with AR, AP, and basic accounting procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems is a strong asset
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a finance team
