About the Role

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients across Canada. You'll act as a trusted advisor—identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, delivering strategic solutions, and driving client success. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, consultative relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and business goals.
  • Account Growth: Identify and execute on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services, expanding our presence within existing accounts.
  • Retention & Satisfaction: Monitor account performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning: Leverage data and client insights to shape account strategies, influence product development, and inform business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed of market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to enhance value propositions.
  • Reporting: Deliver regular reports and insights on client performance and engagement to key internal stakeholders.
  • Client Advocacy: Represent client interests within the company, ensuring their voices inform our strategic direction and service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in sales, account management, or client success—preferably with subscription-based products or consulting services
  • Proven experience managing key accounts and driving revenue growth through strategic planning
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and customer data analytics tools
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make data-informed decisions
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel within Canada as required (must possess a valid passport)
