About the role
Hiring Servers for Jim & Garry's Pub from August until the end of the golf season (late October/early November)
REPORTS TO: Outlets Manager and Director, Food and Beverage
DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for providing exceptional, courteous and prompt service to all guests, to ensure the complete “Eagles Nest experience”.
- Working scheduled shifts, and coming to work with uniform and all the tools required
- Cash handling ( responsible for $500.00 float) any shortages employee will have to make up the difference
- Highest standard of custom service
- Ensure prompt service so golfers can honor tee times
- Ability to know when not to serve guests who have exceeded the legal alcohol limit
- Proper cash handling procedures
- Balance cash and credit cards at end of day( Server Report)
- Open and close liquor/beer inventory
- Restock product (beer/liquor/wine)and supplies and notifying manager of items needed
- Clean and maintain the appearance of the Pub/Patio and kitchen (includes sweeping pub floor/cleaning mirror/patio and cleaning kitchen*).
- Assist fellow co-workers with stocking and restocking Pub and covering breaks
- Ensure all garbage and recycling is taken to Refuse House and dirty cutlery taken to kitchen.
- Ensure Pub equipment is running/working efficiently and notify manager on duty if there are any problems
- Perform and execute any other duties requested by your Food and Beverage Management Team.
- This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available to work from mid- to late August until the end of season (late October/mid-November)
- Smart Serve certified
- Good understanding of food and beverage industry
- Computer skills - Jonas experience preferred

- Knowledge of food service

- Strong interpersonal skills
