We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely sandwich preparation during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Dishwashing, Washroom Cleaning , Broom and mobbing dining area require.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 hrs per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 3 hour shift
- Evening shift till 12 pm ( starting from 5pm or 6pm - 12pm)
- Every Weekends
- Holidays
- Tuesday and Wednesday evening availability must.
- Weekends as needed
Candidate should be willing to work long time. Students preferred who have at least 2 year study starting from May 2025. If you seriously want to work in restaurant than only apply.
Candidate should be residing in Guelph. Only serious candidate apply for the job. Out of Guelph candidate should have car to commute or will be rejected.
