What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure completion of Accounts Payable processing including: reviewing and verifying invoices against purchase orders; matching, coding & posting vendor invoices into Accounting system
- Coordinate with branches or various departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or to obtain approvals where required
- Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor and internal inquiries; follow-up on past-due invoices
- Meet month-end related deadlines
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high volume environment
- Accounting Diploma, Degree or equivalent is an asset
- Able to work independently and as part of a large team
- Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to identify and shift priorities as needed; take initiative to get things done
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Focused on delivering excellent customer service and keen attention to detail
