What You'll Do
Build smart, efficient freight plans that reduce empty miles and boost delivery capacity.
Match the right loads to the right trucks-balancing destinations, deadlines, and fleet availability like a pro.
Keep a pulse on multiple moving parts: driver hours, loading sequences, mileage, service windows-you name it.
Proactively find capacity to move freight and keep things flowing.
Tackle problem shipments with urgency and precision.
Keep stakeholders informed by monitoring shipment status and flagging issues before they become problems.
Act as the go-to contact for both internal teams and external clients-making sure everyone's in the loop and on the same page.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CITT) or education in logistics, supply chain, or transportation is an asset.
A strong understanding of Atlantic Canada geography is a bonus!
You'll Excel If You Are
A multitasker with excellent time management skills.
A self-starter who thrives on making smart, data-driven decisions.
A natural problem-solver who can think fast and negotiate effectively.
Adaptable and calm under pressure-even when priorities shift or timelines tighten.
Tech You Know
Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools-especially Excel and Outlook.
Familiarity with TruckMate or similar TMS software? That's a plus.
