Role Description

This full-time on-site role of Senior Bookkeeper is located in Winnipeg, MB. The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The role also includes preparing payroll, handling tax filings, and generating financial reports. Additional duties may involve assisting with budget preparation and conducting financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping software and accounting software
• Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Strong skills in bank reconciliation and financial report generation
• Knowledge of tax filing and regulatory compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Relevant certification in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset
• Experience working in the accounting or finance industry
