Supply Chain Analyst Code: MMSD / 23282 Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour The Supply Chain Analyst oversees supplier contract reviews, pricing checks, recommendations and negotiations. Typical duties include Supply Chain analysis (risk analysis, market review, opportunities, financial impacts), supplier KPI development and performance analysis, supplier Development / Short and Long Term Supply Chain Problem Solving, integrate Supplier Contracts and Terms into the Supply Chain and Disposition Teams. There is a key focus on both Strategic and Operational Purchasing and Inventory related activities, both for repair services and new/surplus spares.

Contract duration: August 2025 - March 2026

Your Tasks: Internal metrics reporting

  • used vs new purchasing
  • spares and services escalation impact
  • rebate forecasting and calculations
  • inventory levels

External suppliers

  • provisioning conferences / forecasting
  • bulk buys / strategic purchases
  • inventory trades
  • supplier volume and performance monitoring
  • analyze, implement and monitor contracts for spare parts & services
  • escalation of supplier issues & work on supplier development

Internal processes

  • vendor consignments
  • monitor customer stock ROP and repair triggering
  • material forecasting and purchasing budget(s)
  • costing model updates
  • optimize procurement and services coordination with global MTU MRO locations in China and Germany
  • optimize material planning
  • material sales
  • AOG / offsite field service material support
  • engine asset evaluation / valuation
  • support to buyers, material coordinators and material planner(s)
  • participate in budget review meetings and budget / OP planning

Relationship Building

  • Ensure appropriate communication with external and internal customers and suppliers.
  • Build strong partnership with internal team, external suppliers and our MTU Global network

Our Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in supply chain field
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact well with a diverse group of executives, colleagues and team members
  • Results oriented, forward thinking, demonstrates change agility and strategic thinking
  • Interest and basic knowledge of the aviation industry

MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. is an organization that is approved by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), Transport Canada and other aviation authorities to inspect, maintain, repair, overhaul and test aircraft engines, modules, and components. MTU Canada is a North American member of the MTU Maintenance networks of companies, one of the largest provider of independent commercial engine services worldwide. The Canadian operations base serves in two locations in Delta and Richmond, British Columbia.

The Delta operations facility holds OEM technical data licenses required to maintain, repair and overhaul GE, IAE and CFMI engines: CF6-80, CFM56-2/3/7, F108, F138 and V2500 as well as a variety of other OEM licenses to perform MRO services on engine accessories for these and several other engine types. In 2022, MTU provided maintenance for V2500 and CF6-80 operators and owners and for the F108 and the F138 under USAF contracts.
