About the role

Job Description:

We are currently searching for a Bridge Inspector in our Edmonton office.

You will have an opportunity to work on a wide array of bridge projects. Depending on the candidate, the position may include completing bridge inspections and reporting, completing CAD design of bridges, and providing construction inspection for bridge rehabilitation and new bridge construction.

You will engage in a collaborative work environment with your team, as well as other disciplines and offices. This opportunity will involve growing and mentoring staff, working with senior staff to grow the transportation structures practice.

Job Requirements:

What you will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution or Civil Engineering/Architectural Technology Diploma from an accredited technical institute.
  • Class B Bridge Inspector Certificate.
  • Class A Inspection designation is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Committed team player and highly self-motivated.
  • Consulting experience is an asset.
  • This position will require travel throughout Alberta.
  • Valid driver’s license.
