Job Description:

Overview: The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness and loyalty. This role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).
  • Create, curate, and post engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze social media statistics using tools like Google Analytics and native platform insights, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Customer Service) to ensure brand consistency and support broader company goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends.
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) metrics.
  • Identify and engage with social media influencers and brand ambassadors to build and nurture relationships.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
