Job Description:
Overview: The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness and loyalty. This role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).
- Create, curate, and post engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze social media statistics using tools like Google Analytics and native platform insights, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Customer Service) to ensure brand consistency and support broader company goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends.
- Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) metrics.
- Identify and engage with social media influencers and brand ambassadors to build and nurture relationships.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
