About New Brunswick Extra-Mural (EMP)-Programme extra-mural (PEM) du Nouveau-Brunswick
For more than 35 years, the New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program (EMP) has operated under the simple philosophy of 'home first.' It speaks to the EMP's goal of helping New Brunswickers receive the care they need in the places where they are healthiest and happiest - their homes and communities. As part of EMP, your role is vital in our province's overall health.
Branded the 'hospital without walls,' the EMP makes a difference in the lives of those it serves by drastically reducing hospital admissions and greatly increasing patient satisfaction with its level of health care.
Join the multi-disciplinary team brought together by the Government of New Brunswick (GNB) and managed by Medavie Health Services New Brunswick (MHSNB): a team dedicated to building a healthier New Brunswick, and one in which the EMP is key to its success.
