About the role

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales performance and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, training staff, and ensuring that sales targets are met while maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills for success.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and cash handling.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in budgeting to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the retail environment.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor that enhances the shopping experience.
  • Implement effective time management strategies to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a retail or sales environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on interpersonal interactions.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions to improve sales performance.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong time management abilities.

Pay: From $17.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
