DYSL.IO is on a mission to build inclusive technology that empowers neurodiverse and physically disabled individuals to access the world on their terms. Our flagship product, AXON.AI, is already live on the App Store and Google Play — and we’re growing.
We’re looking for a visionary and hands-on Chief Marketing Officer (Equity-Based) to join our small, passionate, and impact-driven founding team.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to get in at the ground floor of a mission-driven tech startup and take the lead in shaping our marketing, branding, sales, and community engagement strategy.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a marketer with 5+ years of experience driving brand, growth, and customer engagement—ideally in accessibility, education, health tech, or consumer-focused apps. You bring leadership-level experience , having shaped and executed marketing strategies from the ground up. You’re both strategic and hands-on—able to set the vision and roll up your sleeves to bring it to life. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments , are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and are excited to build a brand that stands for inclusion and innovation. You know how to connect with both end-users and organizations, and you're motivated by meaningful, purpose-driven work.
Key Skills & Strengths
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Development – Define and execute our brand and growth roadmap
- B2B & B2C Marketing and Sales Experience – Tailor messaging and drive conversion across business and consumer channels, especially in education, healthcare, or accessibility tech
- App & Software Marketing Experience – Skilled at launching and promoting apps on Apple (iOS) and Google Play (Android)
- Partnership & Sales Enablement – Build relationships with schools, clinics, advocacy organizations, or enterprise partners. Help shape GTM strategy and build sales funnels that convert
- Social Media & Community Management – Build and engage an inclusive online presence
- Video Editing for Social Media & Ads – Create or oversee short-form, high-impact video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and paid ads
- Graphic Design & Visual Identity – Create design assets or oversee visual branding (Figma, Canva, etc.)
- Content Creation & Messaging – Develop inclusive, accessible written content across channels
- Press & Media Relations – Experience writing press releases, pitching stories, and managing media engagement
- Media Training – Skilled in preparing teams or spokespeople for interviews, public speaking, and media appearances
- Data-Driven Growth – Comfortable tracking KPIs, analyzing behavior, and optimizing campaigns to increase reach and ROI
- Bonus: PR, SEO/SEM, user acquisition, and GTM strategy in startup or tech environments
Your Impact in the First 6 Months
- Launch and optimize user acquisition campaigns for both educators and neurodiverse users
- Develop B2B and B2C customer personas and segment marketing strategies accordingly
- Establish a brand voice and messaging framework that supports both direct-to-consumer growth and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with the founding team to shape and test a go-to-market (GTM) plan for a future subscription-based app launch
- Identify and pilot at least one scalable sales or marketing channel (e.g., affiliate marketing, content strategy, outreach)
- Draft and distribute at least one press release to build media visibility around key milestones (e.g., product updates, partnerships, or funding)
- Initiate media outreach and help secure coverage in relevant blogs, podcasts, or news outlets
- Provide light media training or interview prep for the founding team to support external communications
Time Commitment
This is a flexible, part-time role. Hours per week are to be determined collaboratively. Ideal for someone seeking high-impact, purpose-driven work alongside other commitments.
What We’re Offering
- Equity-Based Compensation: This is a founding executive role. While we don’t offer a salary at this stage , equity compensation is available for the right partner who wants to grow with us. A salary will be introduced once revenue milestones are achieved and cash flow allows.
- Opportunity to Lead Growth: You won’t just build brand awareness—you’ll drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue as we scale
- Founding Team Influence: You’ll directly shape the brand, messaging, and outreach of a product that already exists—and has massive potential
- Founder Title & Long-Term Role: Title and equity structure can grow with your contribution—this is a path to long-term leadership and legacy
- Remote & Flexible Work: We operate fully remotely with async collaboration, perfect for those managing freelance work or other projects
