Frontline Support, Student Success
Full-Time Support Staff
Reporting to the Manager, Student Learning and Transitions, the Frontline Support, Student Student Success secretary is responsible for assisting the Student Learning and Transitions team and Access and Inclusion team with the effective and efficient operation of services. Responsibilities include providing reception support for services within the Student Development and Services (SDS) Division, and secretarial support for the Student Learning and Transitions, and Access and Inclusion teams.
The Secretary will be responsible for the booking, intake, and screening of student and eligible alumni appointments; collecting consultation, program, and service utilization rates; assembling policy and procedure manuals for the departments, providing administrative support for all departmental programming, and supporting the Manager, Student Learning and Transitions and Manager, Access and Inclusion in tracking departmental budgets.
This position regularly interacts with a wide range of clients, including faculty, staff, students, external partners, and vendors and works closely with other departments across the university to support collaborative service delivery.
The successful candidate will have a two-year Office Administration diploma from a recognized college, combined with one to three years of relevant clerical experience preferably in a post-secondary setting.
